Collection: Framed Ottoman textiles

I have a small collection of framed Ottoman textiles, all one-of-a-kind antique embroideries that have been transformed into distinctive wall art for the modern home. Each piece is created from an antique Ottoman yaglik textile, traditionally used as a decorative element at the ends of Turkish towels or scarves and sourced from Turkey or Greece.

Rich in history and featuring the most intricate stitching, these beautiful textiles are all hand-embroidered in the 19th/early 20th centuries using silk, wool, and metallic threads on linen. No two pieces are ever the same, making each framed Ottoman embroidery a truly singular work of art.

Combining centuries-old Ottoman embroidery with a clean, contemporary presentation, these unique pieces bring warmth, texture, and a bit of history to interiors. Their compact size makes them perfect for even the smallest spaces, or layered with other vintage art as part of a gallery wall.
